Letter From The Editor :-)

Hello My Beautiful People.

Welcome to February. Its a new month, a new beginning! We now have a new president and hopefully new changes approach us. This month Min We wanted to take some time out to focus on Black History (Its Black History Month!!!woohoo) so throughout the month you will see features on such people as Lorraine Hansberry, Muddy Waters, Sue Bailey Thurman, and many more. I hope you enjoy the stories of their courageous attitudes and become inspired. Also, this month be on the lookout for some history about Valentines Day and Mardi Gras. We also have some cool music features this month with such artist as Jay Electronica, Little Jackie and more. The food section will be great with recipes like Lasgna.

This month non profit theme is Fighting Obesity and getting healthy. Its not always about getting on a diet or becoming a certain size, Its about getting healthy and feeling healthy. Everyone deserves a run at a healthy life no matter their size.

We also had a chance to sit down with Jemayne King a new author, with a book called Sole Food, for the sneaker heads out there.

Our guest editor of the month was Jmase. Jmase is a 24 year old NYC guy with a love for sneakers (be on the lookout for his Monthly Sneaker picks!). His motto is anything is possible. Min-We to Jmase is someone who has their own unique style and doesn't conform to the stereotypes.

Hope You have a fabulous February!
Stay Tuned to Minority Weirdos.
Play Hard, Love Hard, Work Hard, RAWK HARD!
