Because of Love

I am lying on my back watching the rotation of air in the darkness of my room
Because of you
Because of you there is a chronic sleeplessness that has made my mind its new home
Because you have created the sweetness of nothings upon my thoughts
I see your image constantly
I am so amazingly intoxicated by you it is almost insensible
The way I hunger for your presence frightens me
I am soaking in a tub of ice wanting to numb all sensation
Because of you
Our intertwining I sometimes dread
It leads to a fondness of you that clinches every inch of my being
Yet releases tensions ,frustrations and weaknesses 
In the same breath
You’ve exhausted me and made me strong  
These things twist into a knot that cannot be unraveled
I am afraid
The very essence of my contents have been erupted
Because of you
I am walking barefoot across live lava rocks 
I am afraid
Scared that this is real
Afraid that you don’t quite feel the same
Danger zones
Maybe you’ll leave
I’ll want you to stay
You weren’t suppose to engrave in me these feelings of you
Have you done this unconsciously and I unconsciously given in
Curiosity and confusion controls my whole
But
This love has tangled me in it’s web
Because of you
Your touch makes me beautiful 
I am dreaming of being beautiful
Because of love
Because of you
Because I love you
