Group Survey: What is success to you?

Minority Weirdos conducted a survey to get different folks answers to "What is success to you?" Success can mean different things for different people and we just wanted to see a diverse group of measurement. A common theme we notice was everyone wants to meet their needs and be able to be in a position to help others. 


Success in our followers definitely goes beyond just monetary and that rocks!~ We hope some of these great answers inspire you and make you think about your own measurement to success in your life.


Getting to the point where my loved ones and I are happy and my only real concern is finding ways to be a blessing to someone else. My definition of success is having found a way to meet our needs (and some of our wants!) so that we may turn our attention to those who are still in need. - Krystle

Lately, success has meant using and trusting my instincts no matter how strange they may seem. - Michael


All I can say is that the more I am able to get "high" off what is listed below, the happier and more successful I see myself:
1) Increasing the amount of people in my life that respect and like the soul of others and being able to communicate with people at an emotional level.
2) Always striving to make the sacrifices to move-up in my career and give back to friends, family, kids & to the community (my societal obligations for myself and future generations).
3) Creating a great dance between my work and my hobbies outside of work.
4) Always striving to do better but remembering to compare myself to myself and not others.

I think I can sum up success as the ability to live comfortably and provide for yourself and/or your family by doing the best you can at whatever. Basically, doing your best at whatever it is you're trying to succeed at. - Sincere
